Indo Western

Hi guys! We finally got the time to work on a shoot together and we couldn't be more excited to share it with you all! :)

Who doesn't love a little bit of fusion these days? It always adds some fun and quirk to the otherwise monotonous styles.
I'm pretty sure you guys know where we're going with this by now. Yes, we did a little mix and match and went all out on two different Indo-western looks for this week's post. Hope you guys like it.

AditiI styled my conventional black skirt which has slight traditional detailing with a bright blue velvet crop top. I have been wanting to style this skirt for ages now and I finally got a chance to do it! To make the look a little edgy I decided to wear a beautiful big pendant as a hair accessory! I wanted to go easy on the jewellery for this look and the jhumkas seemed most appropriate to keep up the traditional vibes. For my makeup I went with a bold gold and black smokey eye as gold just goes with practically every outfit. Since I wanted the eyes to be the highlight I kept the lips simple with just a hint of pink.

Priyanjali : For my look, I styled these quirky traditional Patiala (or Aladin) pants with a plain blue t-shirt. It's amazing how monochromes can be effortlessely paired with printed pants! I wore a layered necklace with tiny details which I absolutely love. I went with pink lips and winged eyeliner for the make up simply because it was on fleak the very first time I put it on :P

I hope you guys enjoyed this post as much as we did shooting for it! Let us know if you recreate any of these looks, we'd love to hear from you!

Until next time,
                          MYD :)
