May Favorites!

Summer came to Bangalore much before we expected it and May was a very very hot month this year, With temperatures rising to about 40 degrees, every Bangalorean was complaining about the hottest summer we have experienced. The scorching heat forced us all to up our skin and hair care game, hence I did try a few products to beat the heat!

For today's post, I have compiled all the products that I have been loving this May. Here is my list -

Lotus Safe Sun Daily Sunblock
Sunblock is one of the most neglected products during summer when this is actually one thing you should apply religiously everyday. This Lotus sunblock has an SPF of 40 and protects your skin from the harsh rays while leaving a matte effect on your face. It is not only non greasy but also absorbs into your skin very easily ensuring your face stays shine free throughout the day!

Maybelline Falsies Vulum' Express Waterproof Mascara
I have already spoken about this mascara in my previous post and I just cannot stop raving about it. This mascara is perfect for summers as it is waterproof and it's extremely light on your lashes. It does not clump and gives your lashes a fuller longer effect.

Biotique Bio Peach Clarifying and Refining Peel-off Mask
I love using peel-off masks as I feel it does wonders to my skin. This Biotique peel-off mask is great for the heat as it gives a cooling effect to your skin. Just one downside about this product is that it has a very strong distinctive smell which can be quite unpleasant during the application. It doesn't smell bad but it's just really strong. So if you are particular about how your products smell then you might not like this one!

L'Oreal 6 Oil Nourish Conditioner
I love using different brands of shampoo and conditioner together based on what kind of nourishment I want for my hair. I feel that the 6 oil conditioner has really helped my hair in this heat and kept it from getting frizzy. Its formula consists of argan, olive, almond, coconut, jojoba and camelina oils which work great for all hair types. The conditioner leaves your hair smooth and shiny and also makes it very manageable.

Victoria's Secret Pure Seduction Fragrance Mist
This isn't really a new product for me because I have been using Victoria's Secret mists for years now but I tried this fragrance for the first time. I tried it earlier this year and I fell in love with it's smell. I don't exactly know how to explain how it smells but all I can say is that it's very subtle yet sexy. I have been using it almost everyday and I love how it keeps me fresh all day!

Beauty Blender
I have heard so much about the beauty blender but I just don't know why I couldn't get one for myself. I got it as a gift very recently and I cannot tell you all how much I love it. It blends my makeup into my skin perfectly and it works like magic. It gives an airbrushed look and that is something all of us want. If you don't have it yet then do invest in one. I am sure you will not regret it. It comes with a blender cleanser with which you can keep your beauty blender clean.

Maybelline SuperFresh compact
Maybelline launched this compact recently and every blogger that I follow is in love with it. I bought myself one to try and now I know what they all meant. This is one of the best compacts I have used and it's also priced very reasonably. It keeps your makeup intact and also keeps you fresh for almost 12 hours. You can stay out the entire day with this compact without any touch-ups!

Tresemme Spa Rejuvenation shampoo
I have been using Tresemme shampoos for a really long time but somehow I never came across this particular type until very recently. The Spa Rejuvenation shampoo claims to have marine minerals which nourish and revive your hair. Honestly I was contemplating if I should pick this product up because I am not particularly a fan of marine related products but luckily I picked it up anyway. This shampoo is great and it makes my hair so much more manageable. It smells lovely which just adds on to the entire spa effect.

I hope you liked this post and also do let us know if you have tried any of these products. We would love to hear from you :)
